# Shortlinks & Analytics

Every link and bento tile added to an okl.ink page automatically receives a high-speed shortlink path (`okl.ink/r/:id`). This allows you to track engagement without losing speed or performance.

## What Are okl.ink Shortlinks?

When visitors interact with tiles on your public page, okl.ink routes them seamlessly through an optimized redirection handler:

* **Zero-Delay Redirect**: Visitors are redirected to your destination URL instantly.
* **Accurate Telemetry**: Real-time click counters register outbound interest without adding third-party tracking scripts or browser cookies.
* **Clean Destinations**: Works with any safe destination — GitHub repos, live web apps, App Store links, YouTube videos, and social profiles.

## Dashboard Analytics

Creators can review engagement metrics directly from the **Dashboard** and **Analytics** tabs:

## Link Transparency & Safety

To maintain trust across the platform:

* **Public Inspector**: Any visitor can inspect where a shortlink leads prior to clicking by appending it to the [Link Inspector](/inspector) (`https://okl.ink/inspector`).
* **Phishing Protection**: Suspended or reported links are automatically intercepted before reaching target destinations.
