Trust & Safety

okl.ink is committed to keeping the platform secure and free of malicious content for both creators and visitors.
To ensure visitor safety, all URLs added to okl.ink must adhere to strict protocol standards:
  • Secure HTTP/HTTPS Only: Only valid standard web URLs are permitted.
  • Protocol Filtering: Dangerous schemes (such as script execution or raw data URI payloads) are blocked at the input layer.
  • Destination Verification: Destination domains are checked against platform trust lists.

Anyone can safely evaluate a shortlink or project slug using the Link Inspector:
The inspector reveals:
  • True Destination URL: Unmasks the final redirect target before you click.
  • Creator & Page Details: Associated project title and metadata.
  • Safety Rating: Real-time platform status (Verified, Safe, Under Review, or Suspended).
